Ever have that issue, where you want to start an app from the Start Menu, and when you click on start (or press the 🪟button), nothing pops up? The old fix was to open the task manager and restart the explorer.exe process. This also killed any opened explorer windows – which is kind of a buzzkill especially if you were copying/moving files, or had many explorer windows opened. A better way is to just end the “Windows Start Experience Host”. Start menu works again 😮
This also works for if the search bar isn’t working! Just look for the “Windows Input Experience” and end the “Search” task 😀
